Welcome to the website of the West Somerset Decorative and Fine Arts Society.
We are based in Taunton, Somerset in the West Country. We are affiliated to NADFAS, the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies.
The society welcomes new members, and at present there is no waiting list.
Our programme consists of a lecture on the third Tuesday afternoon of each month except July, August and December and we run study days and visits for members.
We have lectures from outstanding speakers, each an expert in his or her field. Subjects cover a large range of topics in the Arts painting, architecture, clocks, jewellery, furniture, porcelain, gardens, music and much more.
We hold a summer lunch for members each year and a coffee morning for new members.
